Austin and Lexi arrived on July 5th! We were so excited to see them and have them home in Colorado for a few weeks. We had a ton of activities planned and had a ton of fun!
Ohio Trip
We planned a very long overdue trip to Ohio to visit my parents and Grammy and was also able to see my sister and my nephew Joseph. We were only there for a couple of days and we sure did cram in a ton of stuff! It was really good to see my family - and the best was my grammy getting to see all her great-grandchildren at once. She had only ever seen Austin and Lexi a few times and Emma only once - I can't tell you how great it was to see her beam and be happy!

We had dinner at my all time favorite pizza place - it is only
in Ohio - Marion's Pizza! I worked here and can honestly
say it was the funnest job I ever had! Chris was skeptical
that it would be that good...I didn't even get to take a picture
of the pizza because it was gone in like 5 mins! Oh yeah - it's
THAT good!

It's a very mid-western thing to have breakfast as a family
on Sunday's. We all went out and had some amazing food -
but nothing topped Emma's cherry covered pancakes!

Denver Trolley Tour
Austin and Lexi got invited to take this awesome tour of Denver with Tami and the boys. The kids had such a blast and thought it was so neat to be able to see so much of the city at once. They ended the day with a stop at Denver's newest hot spot - PinkBerries. The verdict? It was GOOOOOOD! Thanks so much Tam for inviting them to spend the day with you and your family! They had a great time!

Stanley Lake
We took a little outing to this really beautiful lake by our house one afternoon. Cooper got to swim, Emma got to see tons of butterflies and we got bombarded by crazy abnormally large grasshoppers! All in all it was a really fun afternoon and good time together!
Lexi's Birthday!!!!
My dearest Lexi,
It was so great being able to spend your birthday with you this year! I know our visit was short - but I hope you had a great time! You are truly an amazing girl...absolutely beautiful, super smart, best big sister anyone could ever ask for, and my sunshine. I miss you so much now - but am glad we have these new memories to add to our book! I love you so very much and you make me proud everyday!

Random Stuff
The rest of our time was spent just hanging out. We did a lot of swimming, card playing, movie watching and horsing around. Just ask Austin about the killer raccoon! We had a great time and although we miss you dearly...we will see you soon! And can't wait! Love to you both!
Lexi's friend Carly came to stay with us for the week of
Lexi's birthday. We went to Elitches for Lex's b-day -
it was really fun!

they almost fit perfectly - LOL!
Emma was so tired one night - she actually just laid down
on the floor and went to sleep - she was out!

If you can't tell what's going on here - Dante and Emma are
drawing 'tattoos' on Austin's face! The sad part...Austin let
them!
We couldn't go camping like we planned - so the girls made
