HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY EMMA!!

On February 11th, my beautiful daughter Emma turned 7!  I can't believe how fast time flies by!  It seems like just yesterday that Chris and I were going to the hospital excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.  Now she is full of opinions, energy, smiles, laughter and such kindness!  We love you so very much and hope you had a wonderful day!

Toothless Emma

Emma has been on a roll since summer - loosing tooth after tooth. The toothfairy is about broke! And if she looses one more I'm not sure how she'll eat anything but ice cream =0)

TAYLOR SWIFT!!

Ughhhh still trying to get caught up and there's some things I just won't be able to get posted...but this was really important =0)  In September, we took Emma to see her first concert - her favorite Taylor Swift. The tickets were hard to come by and our seats weren't great but it was a really fun night - even though Em feel asleep 20 mins after Taylor finally took the stage!  I think we'll wait a few more years before trying it again.

Halloween

Emma getting ready to go trick or treating

these sticky eyes - it almost looks like her
eye really fell out!

My Little Cheerleader!

A few weeks ago, Emma got the opportunity to attend a mini cheer clinic at WheatRidge HS (her cousin is a varsity cheerleader for the Farmers). I wasn't sure how she was going to do - but after some initial hesitation she got right in there and did a fantastic job! Everyone kept telling us that she is a natural...not sure how I feel about that! =0)

First Day of Kindergaten

Emma's first day of Kindergarten was yesterday. Even though she's attending a full day program, yesterday was a getting to know you day to give the kids an opportunity to ease into a new environment. We went with her for the hour and a half - and she did great! We filled out all our paperwork, learned the rules of the class and got to explore the classroom to get familiar with where everything is...she even got to play on the playground - her favorite part! Today, however was a little different. Moms and Dads couldn't go into the classroom - we had to drop her off at the door and say I love you have a great day! Of course - today is rainy and cold - Emma held the umbrella the whole way - sobbing. Break my heart! But even through all the crying - she went into the room like the very big Kindergarten - 5 year old she is - and no matter what I am so proud! I pick her up after work and can't wait to hear all about it!

First full day - what a tooper!

Man...where does she get it?

Last Day at Primrose

Friday was Emma's last day at the Preschool she has attended for the last 2 years. She has made so many great friends and learned so much! I will be forever grateful to all her amazing teachers for all their love, support and guidance they have given. Emma was sad to leave all her friends - most are staying at Primrose for Kindergarten - but we will keep in touch and make sure to schedule plenty of play-dates! Here's some pictures of her and her friends.

Emma's 4th of July Parade

Every year Primrose puts on a 4th of July
parade for all the parents. Each class makes
their own props and the learn patriotic songs
that they sing during the parade. It's so cute!
