Weekend chop-full of activiities

I am super tired tonight as I write this. We took the whole family, including Cooper to Glenwood Springs this weekend for some fun in the mountains - and boy did we ever have some fun! We stayed in an awesome cabin on the Colorado River - there was a little playground so Emma was entertained for hours - HA! Austin, Chris and I took a whitewater rafting trip that was a blast! Lexi was still a little too apprehensive so she decided to wait until next time. Austin was a little nervous - but he was a champ on the river - and he loved it! I was so proud of him for doing something he was afraid of! Later in the day we all took a Gondola ride to the top of Iron Mountain - Mom didn't do so well on that trip - I really don't like heights. But once we were at the top it was amazing. We toured a cavern that was pretty cool and then we rode some rides. Lexi screamed on the Alpine Coaster - it was pretty scary but really fun! And Austin and I rode a mechanical bull - I stayed on but man did I pay for it the rest of the weekend! Talk about being sore! And of course it wouldn't be a trip to Glenwood without visiting the Hot Springs Pool. We had a great family weekend that everyone enjoyed. Now it's time for some relaxation =0)
