Xmas Party

Last week Chris's new company had their annual Holiday Party for employees and families. It was really fun and great to see some old dear friends.

Chris and our good friend Joe. Joe is now2
weeks post brain surgery to remove a large
tumor. Super amazing that he is out of the
hospital, up and about and for the most part
back to normal. He's had a few set backs this
week, but for the most part doing very well.
It was good to see him and his family.

Another one bites the dust

Look who lost another tooth! Okay the way it happened was kind of gross - we were at dinner the other night - BW3's no place fancy =0) and Em was complaining that she couldn't eat because her tooth hurt (it had been loose for about 2 days). So I asked her if I could try to pull it out - never thinking she was going to let me or that it was actually going to come out - but sure enough! I took a napkin and pulled on that sucker 2 times - and the 3rd time was the charm - it popped right out! All the kids thought it was super cool but I don't think the adults thought so!

ThanksGiving

Since Rex and Jackie were out of town this year, and I wasn't feeling very well from my last infusion, we decided to switch it up a bit and have our Thanksgiving dinner out. We went to the Black Eyed Pea, which is one of my favorites! Chris had never eaten there before - but loved it! Don't know if we would make it a tradition - but it sure was nice to not have to spend the whole day cooking and cleaning!
