A lot of people don't know that I wear glasses. Not for everything, or all the time, but for things like night driving and reading. I had gotten a new pair of glasses a few years ago - and of course - Cooper ate them a while back. The only pair I had left were horrible wire rimmed glasses from the 90's - they were the ugliest things ever! A few months ago I had had it with the ugly glasses, and since my eyes have been straining a bit more with the optic neuritis, I decided it was time to get a new pair. I of course had to have cute, trendy frames - so I spent a small fortune...but I loved them - they were great! Then - BAM! they were gone! Lost! I was horrified and Chris was not too happy. We looked everywhere - in every drawer, cabinet, pocket...under every cushion and in every nook and cranny - and nothing! I was devastated! The last time I saw them was the week of Christmas.
Well this past week I went to get a cheap pair to replace my beloved glasses - I was convinced that they were just gone - even though everyone said - you know you're going to find them the minute you get a new pair...I picked up my new pair just last night...
and found my old pair about 20 minutes ago. If it was a snake it would have bit me!
I am in our office every day - we searched this room high and low - or so we thought. Doesn't it always seem that what you're looking for is right in front of your face??
