New Moon

We have been anxiously awaiting the release of the 2nd movie of the Twilight series for some time. I'm sure most everyone knows that I am completely and totally addicted - I LOVE it!! This summer while Austin and Lex were out we watched Twilight and Lex really liked it. I have been trying to figure out a way to get her interested in reading - so I struck a deal with her. If she could read New Moon by the time the movie came out - I would fly out to Kansas to take her to the premier...it worked like a charm! She read the book with time to spare. My best friend Kristina decided to go with me, and we took Emma, little did I know this summer what a HUGE deal this movie was going to be. I had to buy the tickets a month in advance - they were pretty hard to get. Last weekend we all flew out and were very excited to see the kids - bonus that Austin was going to be home for Thanksgiving break! We had tickets for the 7:00 pm movie on Friday night - and were advised to arrive at least 2 hours early. We were there around 5 pm and were about 70ish in line...we later found out that people started lining up at 3:30 - that's dedication! The amount of people - well lets face it - girls and women - that were there to see this movie was crazy! Before we knew it they were opening the doors and people literally started running into the theater! We ended up getting really good seats and the movie did not disappoint - LOVED IT!! Can't wait for Eclipse!
