Sharing - MS Update

For the last month I have been wondering if the weird little floaters I have been seeing in my right eye was Optic Neuritis or not. Sadly at my doctor's appointment yesterday it was confirmed that the disease has spread and is now active in both eyes. The good news is that the doctor pulled some strings and was able to start me on the treatment yesterday. For the next 4 days I have to go to get an infusion of steroids - specifically Solu-Medrol (methylprednisolone) - to stop the inflammation and hopefully prevent any further damage. The steroids are not easily tolerated and have some pretty crappy side effects - but I'm managing them well so far.
I found a picture on the Internet today and it's amazing how close it is to what a person experiences - as far as the visual part of the symptoms. I haven't gotten to this point yet in my right eye - but probably in the next week or so. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I hope that day 2 at the clinic was ok. I am glad that you found this pic you were telling me about. It makes it easier to understand what you are going through. As always we are thinking and praying for you.
