This year my good friend Kelly and I decided take Emma and her daughter Taylor to see their first ballet - the Nutcracker! Lexi really wanted to go (she has seen it before but loves it!) so we made it a girls day out. We started with a yummy lunch at Cheesecake factory - the kids loved it! The lunch took a bit longer than we expected to we had to literally run to the theater and to our seats before they closed the doors. Out of breath and worried that the mid afternoon show was going to be a disaster (big lunch - no naps - lots of running) - the curtain opened and not a peep from any of them the entire show! We were pretty amazed and they were mesmerized! Emma was actually dancing in the isle - she loved it and know wants to take ballet. The day was a huge success!
