WILL SMITH!!!

Last week we got a memo from security in our building that Will Smith was going to be premiering his new movie Seven Pounds next door to our building at the United Artist Theaters. The memo was typical - if you're parked in the parking garage you wouldn't be able to leave until after he arrived and there would be a lot of traffic in and around the building area. I couldn't believe it - I kind of work in the coolest building!! Earlier this year - the premier of Batman Returns was at that theater and they had the Bat-mobile and motorcycle on display - it was pretty cool...Anyway - I'm a pretty big fan of Will and I wondered that since I was right there if I had any chance of catching a glimpse - it was WAY better. I got a spot right up against the barrier fence and I actually got a hug and a hand shake!!!! I snapped a few pics - but he was moving so fast it was hard to get one dead on...anyway here's what I got. And I have to say that he is just as handsome in person as in the movies. I was also very impressed by his integrity - it was a pretty cold night - and he only had a suite jacket on - he'd been out and about all day visiting hospitals and charity organizations but he made it a point to stay and sign every autograph and meet everyone that had been waiting to see him. He arrived at 6:15 - the movie started at 7:00 - but at 7:30 when I was leaving he was still out there! I'm an even bigger fan now!
