HARD DAY

Today was my beautiful Emma's first day at her new school - Primrose. Chris and I have been very worried that she would have a hard time adjusting to the change - but this morning to my surprise she was very excited to get to school and when we got there - she was anxious to sit down and be involved with the activities. There wasn't one tear - not one I want my mommy - nothing but bye mom I love you - have a good day! I left a crying mess -I was sad and happy that my littlest girl is growing up and she doesn't need me anymore...Emma's new teacher called to tell me that Emma was adjusting fine - but started crying early this afternoon - didn't eat any lunch - slept for 2 hours and cried more this afternoon...she said she needs her mommy. Even though I wish her day would've been better, I'm so proud of her that she went into today with so much enthusiasm - tomorrow may be harder in the morning - but I know she'll adjust just fine. She's my big girl! I love you Emma!!
