Mommy and Emma Day

Today was the first Mommy and Emma day. A few weeks ago I decided that Emma and I needed to spend some more quality time together - and living in a great state such as Colorado, there are so many things that we can do together so close to home. I asked Emma what she wanted to do for our first fun day and she chose breakfast in the park so we got up early, headed to her favorite breakfast place to pick up her favorite hotcakes and sausage and chocolate milk and then off to the park we went! We had a blast! It was a nice breakfast followed by lots of playing on the slides, swings and jungle gym. We also took her bike and some coloring books - all in all we had a great day! The first Emma and me day was a hit!!
